:driver I could be wrong but that is what I do and I think it works. So, therefore, if you keep if perfectly clean and add wax or Rejex to the bottom you will have less resistance and therefore go faster. Think of it this way, if your boat sits in the water year round and you accumulate barnacles and crap on the bottom it WILL SLOW you down :banghead based on a set RPM that should give you the same MPH or Knots. It will not increase your speed a lot but it will give you two, perhaps three MPH more. I agree with your statement about waxing the bottom to go faster. I'de like someone else to try this and see what results they get. Well, my boat is not a racing boat, it's a 23' bay boat with a 225 Optimax that actually preformes better with Rejex on the hull. Now, I know someone is going to call BS because racing boats actually sand there hulls to rough them up for better performance. The boat jumps-up quicker with less throttle and tops out about 2 mph faster. I use Rejex on my hull and I can really tell a difference in performance. I know I'm going to catch some flack for this post, but I've done it several times and it works. 600 FS Manufacturers Forums (now merged into BOATING).1.3K Classified: Paddle Craft and Accessories.26.5K Classifieds Ads Forums (5 Forums).17.4K Southeast General Fishing & The Outdoors.
